• Monitor data engineering activities within SAP agile reporting squads (e.g., designing data models, transformations, source system extractors, CDS reviews).
• Collaborate with the platform team to establish data engineering standards and tools, promoting the adoption of best practices by creating protocols and ensuring their implementation.
• Ensure that everyone in the SAP Data Engineering community receives the right support to excel in their roles and grow both locally and across the organization.
• Develop, manage, and measure continuous learning activities for the SAP Data Engineering community functions.
• Provide comprehensive expertise on strategic use cases (e.g., high-priority products, technology development).
• Act as a point of contact for the SAP Data Engineering community to solve complex issues.

• Senior-level experience (over 5 years) leading large reporting teams in high-growth companies and working in product and technology departments.
• Strong coaching and skill-building abilities, with a focus on continuous community development and growth.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4, with clean coding techniques in ABAP and AMDP/HANA SQL.
• Proficiency in at least two of these SAP modules: SD, MM, Retail, CAR.
• Expertise in data modeling to align with data engineers and data architects during model development.
• Excellent English language skills.
