Data architect advanced level - Pharmaceutical Sector 

50% Remote - 50% On Site in Amsterdam

 

The objective of this request is to source data architect to support translation of TCIP into a clear target enterprise architecture and to turn it into a feasible plan.

The Agency has adopted the agile way of working, which requires a new way of bringing architectural elements to the delivery teams.

External bodies such as NICTAC are requesting a more complete architecture 'to-be' view which requires work.

This raises a need for an additional review of the architecture from data perspective.

Professional qualifications

TOGAF 9 Certification, IBM Certified Data Architect or other equivalent and valid certificates.

Role specific experience

  • Solution design and Data Architecture
  • Proven record in designing and delivering end-to-end business solutions implemented across multiple components, platforms and technologies (both cloud and on-prem);
  • Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e., Kanban, Scrum and other lean techniques);
  • Strong knowledge Microsoft cloud technologies (Microsoft Dynamics Portals, Microsoft SharePoint Online 
  • Experience in working with Azure DevOps or JIRA SDLC is desired

Role specific skills, competencies & responsibilities

  • Collect existing information, architecture models, as-is application overviews, mapping to business processes
  • Identify the to-be architecture based on TCIP, meaning move to cloud(-native), introduction of strategic capabilities and tooling (ServiceNow)
  • Provide structure in what an Enterprise Architecture should consist of, and identify missing artefacts
  • Work with the EMA Enterprise Architect and where applicable domain and solution architects to write the required artefacts
  • Create a presentable overview of the Target Enterprise Architecture for IML, Portfolio Board and potentially EXB
