The Directorate-General for Customs is looking for an LDM maker who can also interpret DDL, XSD, etc. and translate it into an LDM. This concerns activities related to the realization of the Data Catalog and DUTO requirements (Sustainable Accessibility). The existing Logical and Physical Data Models must be inventoried. The Logical Data Models must be in order. The fields/attributes in both must be linked. In addition, hierarchical structures must be drawn up, including customs schemes for both the storage in DDD of structured information objects and for the storage of the corresponding information objects in the data platform. These have a variant at the level of a Logical Data Model and a variant at the level of a Physical Data Model. The assignment is for 32-36 hours a week. Customs Information Management in Order Program (DIOO) is a multi-year program and its task is to put information management in order in a sustainable manner, as well as to improve the information provision from DG Customs to the House of Representatives and society. An assignment that stems from the Departmental Program IOO (led by the Ministry of Finance). And this was set up in response to the government's response to the report 'Unknown Injustice', in which the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Childcare Allowance (POK) expresses a critical opinion about the way in which it was provided with information during the investigation. In addition, there is a growing need to structurally and sustainably improve information management and facilities. The program plan defines 5 lines of action:
information professional
volume and nature of information
information systems
control and compliance
IV and political and administrative relations.
Projects under the action lines are, for example: active disclosure, e-mail archiving and the implementation of a document management system. The IV organization of the Tax and Customs Administration is responsible for and provides the ICT facilities. The majority of the applications are currently developed, maintained and managed by the IV organization itself in its own data center. In addition to ensuring continuity in the massive tax and collection processes that take place within a sound, stable environment, we are also working hard to modernize the IV landscape. This is partly done internally by using the expertise available internally, but also by attracting (ready-made) solutions and expertise from the market.
