Next Ventures is currently looking for a Databricks expert to work on a project implementing a data lakehouse for one of the largest dutch financial institutions.

Key Details
Role: Databricks Consultant
Contract duration: Initial 6 - 12 month contract 
Location: Amsterdam
Work Model: 2x/ week on site

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows.
• Implement ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize Databricks clusters, jobs, and notebooks for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build data quality and observability frameworks using Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
• Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD automation for Databricks deployment
