Information Architect | Information Management Improvement

Assignment

For the next phase of an Information Management Improvement programme, we are looking for an experienced Information Architect.

The programme focuses on improving Information Management, including:

• Development of an Information Management Framework
• Technical pilots around policy-based access control
• Automated information classification
• Improvement of governance, classification, protection, and management of sensitive and business-critical information

Responsibilities

The Information Architect will be responsible for ensuring architectural coherence across:

• Information domains
• Metadata management
• Taxonomies
• Information lifecycle management
• Classification
• Policies and controls
• Governance

In addition, the architect will connect these domains to technical pilots and the wider enterprise architecture landscape. The role also involves translating the Information Management vision into a concrete target-state architecture and a realistic implementation roadmap.

Desired Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience as an Information Architect or Information Management Architect
• The ability to connect business processes, information domains, applications, metadata, governance, and policies
• Proven experience developing target architectures and implementation roadmaps
• Experience working in complex engineering environments, regulated organisations, or security-sensitive environments (strong preference)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
