MES/SCADA Technical Consultant - Germany - 6 months+

For a large manufacturing customer we are looking for an experienced MES/SCADA Technical Consultant to support in Germany.
You can be based anywhere in Germany, working from home and occasional travel to site.

The Role

• Support and maintain MES/MOM systems in production environments
• Work with PLC, SCADA, sensors, and IIoT devices, including AVEVA Wonderware InTouch
• Work with COTS MES solutions and customize as needed
• Develop and troubleshoot using .NET, Java, and SQL
• Design and manage MES screen frameworks / operator interfaces
• Integrate MES
• Enable machine integration using OPC and other industrial protocols
• Translate business requirements into technical solution architecture
• Handle incident and service request management (production support)

Your Skills & Experience

• Experience with MES/MOM systems support and COTS MES solutions
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, sensors, and IIoT, including AVEVA Wonderware InTouch
• Proficiency in .NET, Java, and SQL
• Strong understanding of MES screen frameworks / UI design
• Knowledge of integration into SAP
• Knowledge of machine integration (OPC and industrial protocols)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions/architecture
• Experience with incident and service request management
• Fluent in German and English
