SailPoint IIQ Engineer

SailPoint Engineer – 1+ year contract

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month in Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, or London)

Contract: 1 year (initial)
Start: ASAP

We’re seeking an experienced SailPoint Engineer to strengthen the Identity & Access Management function of a global financial services organisation. This role will play a key part in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access across complex IT environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing and supporting the day-to-day operation of the SailPoint IIQ platform.

  • Acting as an escalation point for technical issues within the IAM space.

  • Designing and updating documentation, workflows, and system architecture.

  • Carrying out risk assessments and implementing security improvements.

  • Maintaining performance and reliability across servers, databases, and connected systems.

  • Applying patches, fixing vulnerabilities, and managing upgrades.

  • Working closely with security, compliance, and IT operations teams to meet business and regulatory needs.

  • Potential involvement in occasional out-of-hours support further into the role.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including integrations with business-critical applications.

  • Proven background (3–5 years) in IAM engineering with expertise in Active Directory and LDAP.

  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

  • Scripting skills (PowerShell or similar) would be highly valuable.

  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Splunk, and MS Teams.

  • Exposure to CyberArk or wider security tools (e.g. SIEM, PAM) would be a bonus.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is desirable.
