SAP Ariba Consultant
Energy Sector | Sweden | 2 Days On-Site / Week | Swedish Speaking

About the Role

Our client, a global energy company, is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to support the design, configuration and rollout of Ariba modules as part of their procurement transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support configuration and implementation across relevant Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Buying/Invoicing, or Guided Buying — scope to be confirmed)
• Run workshops with procurement stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into Ariba solution design
• Configure workflows, approval flows, and master data (supplier, catalogue, contract data)
• Manage integration between Ariba and SAP S/4HANA/ECC (CIG, PI/PO, or CPI depending on landscape)
• Support testing, UAT, cutover planning, training and hypercare
• Work with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, IT) to ensure alignment with business processes

Requirements

• Proven experience implementing SAP Ariba, ideally across multiple full-cycle projects
• Energy/utilities sector experience preferred — familiarity with capital-intensive procurement, complex supplier networks, and/or field services/MRO procurement is a plus
• Strong understanding of upstream and/or downstream procurement processes
• Experience integrating Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC
• Comfortable running workshops and engaging directly with business stakeholders
• Swedish speaking required; fluent English also expected
