Job Title:  SAP ABAP Developer

Duration: 6 Months + extensions

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience to join our project on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in ABAP development across various SAP modules and will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Conversions)
• Work on SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, HR, PP, or others as per project requirements
• Develop and enhance OO ABAP programs, ALV reports, Smart Forms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and User Exits
• Integrate with non-SAP systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and support
• Perform code reviews, optimization, and troubleshooting for performance and quality assurance
• Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders
• Document all technical specifications and ensure compliance with SAP development standards
• Support post-implementation and production support activities

Requirements:

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• Strong knowledge of OO ABAP, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements
• Proficient in SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAPScripts, and Workflow
• Experience with ALE/IDoc configurations and debugging
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and OData services is a strong plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote/freelance environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with functional teams and end users

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in S/4HANA implementations or migrations
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps tools
• SAP Certification(s) in ABAP or relevant modules (optional but a plus)
