Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant for a 12-month contract engagement with our end client in the medical industry. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong functional expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week in Danvers, MA.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP EWM implementation and support experience, preferably within regulated environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare organizations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support SAP EWM configuration, implementation, and optimization activities

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications

  • Provide expertise across inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and inventory management

  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with customer teams

  • Configure and test EWM processes including RF framework, warehouse structure, labor management (if applicable), and integration with SAP ERP/S4

  • Support integration points between EWM and MM, SD, PP, and QM modules

  • Coordinate and support UAT, cutover planning, and go-live activities

  • Provide post-go-live support and process improvement recommendations

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and validation standards where applicable


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SAP EWM functional experience

  • At least one full lifecycle SAP EWM implementation

  • Strong configuration experience across core EWM processes

  • Experience integrating EWM with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

  • Customer-facing consulting experience

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Danvers, MA 2–3 days per week


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments

  • Knowledge of GxP, validation processes, and compliance requirements

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM (embedded or decentralized)

  • Background in warehouse automation or RF/mobile solutions
