Senior / Expert SAP GTS & Integration Consultant

Next Ventures are executing a search for a Senior/Expert SAP professional with strong hands-on experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), SAP HANA, ECC/S/4HANA integrations, ABAP development, and SAP integration technologies.
The successful consultant will take ownership of technical solutions across the SAP landscape, work closely with business and functional stakeholders, troubleshoot complex production issues, and support deployments and ongoing improvements.
The role requires a strong combination of SAP GTS functional/technical expertise and hands-on development and integration capability.

Assignment Details

On site presence is a requirement of the client 2/3 days per week. Consultants must hold EU , Swedish or relevant work permit or a residence permit for Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical solutions within the SAP GTS and broader SAP landscape.
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain SAP GTS integrations with ECC and S/4HANA.
• Develop and support interfaces for master data replication and transactional data flows.
• Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot interfaces and integration processes.
• Support and develop solutions across Compliance Management, SPL Screening, Legal Control, Customs and Intrastat.
• Perform hands-on SAP ABAP development, including development using RAP, CDS Views and OData.
• Apply Clean Core principles when designing and implementing SAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations using SAP CPI and related integration technologies.
• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents and integration issues.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders and other technical teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support testing, deployment and release activities across the SAP landscape.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement of SAP GTS and integration solutions.
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable and aligned with SAP best practices.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Senior/Expert-level SAP experience, with significant hands-on technical delivery experience.
• Strong practical experience with SAP GTS on HANA.
• Proven experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of master data replication and interface monitoring.
• Hands-on ABAP development experience, ideally including RAP, CDS and OData.
• Practical experience with SAP CPI and SAP integration technologies.
• Good understanding of Clean Core principles and modern SAP development approaches.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in complex SAP environments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with both technical and functional teams.
