IBP Project Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major transformation programme implementing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at the Asian site of a leading European manufacturer in Bangkok, Thailand.

The successful candidate will take over project leadership responsibilities and play a key role in driving the programme forward, managing the customer relationship and ensuring successful delivery through to September 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for project leadership and day-to-day delivery.

• Manage key customer and internal stakeholders across the programme.

• Own and actively manage project scope, ensuring expectations remain aligned.

• Challenge and push back on the customer when required, while maintaining a strong working relationship.

• Drive project governance, planning, risks, issues, dependencies and decision-making.

• Coordinate cross-functional and international project teams.

• Ensure project objectives, milestones and deliverables remain on track.

• Proactively identify potential delivery issues and drive appropriate resolution.

• Provide clear and effective communication to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Programme Manager within complex transformation or IT projects.

• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrable experience managing scope and customer expectations.

• Confident in challenging stakeholders and pushing back constructively when necessary.

• Experience working with international teams and customers.

• Fluent English is essential.

• Experience with SAP IBP / supply chain planning or a comparable business transformation programme would be highly beneficial.

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a predominantly remote environment.

Project Details

This is a long-term opportunity, with the project currently planned to run until September 2027.

The role is approximately mainly remote, although occasional travel to the Bangkok site may be required depending on project needs.
