For a huge government customer in Brussels, Next Ventures are searching for an SAP PM consultant. 

The contract will be one year initially, with a view for it to be extended for at least another three years after. You will be required to work two days on site in Brussels each week. 

The candidate must be able to speak clear English, with fluency in either French or Dutch, plus the ability to express yourself fluently in a third national language. 

This is a long term position, with the initial one year contract looking to be extended for at least another 3 years further. You will initially work on a very complex PM blueprint creation ready for the planned S/4 rollout in the next two years. 


The candidate must:

  • Be a point of contact to collect customer needs.

  • Investigate requests and verify their technical feasibility according to internal standards.

  • Drafting of functional specifications taking into account customer needs.

  • Configuration/configuration of SAP systems.

  • Writing and maintaining configuration documentation .

  • Drafting of technical specifications that serve as input to the SAP developer.

  • Establish test scenarios.

  • Test configuration, change requests and new developments.

  • Train key users and support them during the training of end users.

  • Provide optimal support to customers (bug solving, process adjustment, field support, ...)

  • Follow-up of batch jobs / interfaces.
