SAP Retail Functional Architect
I’m currently working with a global consultancy that is expanding its SAP practice in France, and they are looking for an experienced SAP Retail Functional Architect to join their growing team in Paris.
The role will focus on a major SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation, working closely with business stakeholders and project teams to shape the overall solution and ensure successful delivery.
Role: SAP Retail Functional Architect
Location: Paris, France - 2/3 days onsite per week
Contract type: Freelance for 6 months, then employment
Start: ASAP
- Lead the functional architecture and solution design for SAP Retail within an S/4HANA Cloud transformation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Provide expertise across SAP Retail processes, ensuring integration with the wider S/4HANA landscape.
- Support the full project lifecycle, including fit-to-standard, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, deployment and go-live.
- Act as a key functional advisor to both the client and internal consulting teams, helping drive best practices and successful adoption.
What they are looking for:
- Strong experience as an SAP Retail Functional Architect
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally within S/4HANA Cloud implementations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP Retail business processes and solution architecture.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders and leading functional workstreams.
- French and English communication skills would be highly valuable.
