SAP S/4 Test Manager
UK based - 2 days per week in London
Outside IR35, start ASAP. 

Role overview:
The Test Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the overall testing strategy for a complex ERP programme, ensuring all solution components — from processes to integrations — are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.

The role will cover planning, coordination, execution oversight, defect management, reporting, and alignment across multiple workstreams and business teams.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and own the programme-wide test strategy, approach and governance.
Define test phases including UT, SIT, UAT, regression, performance testing and cutover validation.
Prepare the master test plan, including scope, timelines, environments, entry / exit criteria, resources and tools.
Coordinate testing activities across the programme.
Oversee SIT, UAT and regression test execution, ensuring progress against plan.
Manage test data requirements, test environments and preconditions for each phase.
Review and approve test scripts, scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Establish and manage defect triage, prioritisation and resolution.
Maintain test-related RAID items and escalate critical defects / risks to programme leadership.
Act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters.
Provide regular test status reporting, dashboards and quality metrics.
Support go-live readiness, cutover validation and hypercare stabilisation.
