Position: SAP Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Upgrade & Technical Transformation
Location : Bangalore/ Pune (India) - occasional on-site presence may be required
Start: Immediate
Duration: 12 months+
Role Summary
Lead enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives focused on SAP upgrades and technical modernization. We currently have SAP S4 upgraded ongoing and then we will have GTS upgrade and other upgrades as and when the SAP products reach end of their mainstream maintenance. This individual will be Responsible for planning, governance, execution, and delivery of complex SAP programs involving multiple SAP platforms, integrations, and infrastructure components while ensuring business continuity and minimal operational disruption.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA upgrade and technical transformation programs.
• Coordinate activities across SAP S/4HANA, ME/MII, GRC, GTS, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and third-party integrated systems.
• Lead project planning, governance, resource coordination, risk management, testing, cutover, and hyper care activities.
• Drive alignment between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, SAP functional teams, and external partners.
• Ensure system readiness, integration compatibility, performance optimization, security compliance, and operational stability.
• Oversee technical design reviews, environment strategy, data validation, release management, and deployment planning.
• Manage project dependencies, issue resolution, and executive-level status reporting.
• Support organizational change management and transition to support teams following go live.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience delivering SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrades and technical transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and security.
• Proven leadership in global, multi-vendor SAP initiatives and complex cutover events.
