SAP SD Consultant - Japanese speaker - Hybrid contract

We are currently seeking a bilingual SAP SD Functional Consultant to join a major SAP S/4HANA programme based in Tokyo.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant with 5-7 years of hands-on SAP SD experience who is comfortable working in both Japanese and English within a multinational project environment. We're looking for a practical functional consultant rather than a senior architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
• Configure and support core SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution processes.
• Participate in functional design, configuration, testing and deployment activities.
• Support data migration and validation for SD-related master and transactional data.
• Work closely with business users, technical teams and project stakeholders.
• Assist with defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live support.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-7 years of practical SAP SD functional consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution.
• Solid understanding of core SD processes, including:
• Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Sales Orders
• Pricing
• Shipping & Delivery
• Billing
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience within the SD module.
• Experience with functional testing, integration testing and UAT.
• Understanding of SD master data and transactional data.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Essential:

• Business-level Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Eligibility to work in Japan.
