Overview

We are working with a leading international provider of HR and payroll solutions, supporting global organisations across multiple industries. Due to continued growth within their Application Management Services (AMS) division, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant.

This role offers a clear alternative to traditional consulting environments, with a focus on long-term client ownership rather than project-based delivery.

The Role

As part of the AMS team, you will take ownership of SAP HCM Payroll landscapes for a small number of key clients, ensuring system stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing SAP HCM Payroll support and maintenance within an AMS environment
• Managing and optimising payroll processes for 1–2 long-term clients
• Handling incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements
• Ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations and requirements
• Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on payroll-related topics
• Supporting system improvements and process optimisation initiatives

This is not a project-heavy role—there is a strong emphasis on steady-state support and long-term system ownership.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll consulting
• Strong knowledge of German payroll (PY-DE)
• Experience working in AMS / support environments or interest in moving into one
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, schemas, and customising
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Fluent in German and English
