The customer is seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Architect to support a critical transition and upgrade path from VCF 5.2.1.2 → VCF 9.1. The architect will lead discovery, assessment, design and documentation activities, working directly with technical and business stakeholders in a telco environment. On‑site presence in Châtillon or Lyon is required for workshops, design sessions and stakeholder meetings.
Assist the customer with the transition and upgrade path from VCF 5.2.1.2 to VCF 9.1
Lead discovery, assessment and design workshops
Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including:
High‑Level Designs (HLD)
Migration strategies from VCF 5.x to VCF 9.1
Engage directly with customer stakeholders in architecture and design discussions
Provide expert guidance on VCF 9 architecture, design, capabilities and migration paths
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, governance and operational requirements
Strong hands‑on expertise with VCF 9 architecture, design, capabilities and migration paths
Proven experience delivering VCF upgrade paths from 5.x versions
Ability to lead technical workshops and drive architectural decision‑making
Comfortable presenting and collaborating with senior customer stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, high‑quality documentation
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, VMware stack and telco environments
Fluent French (Francophone) — mandatory
