Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative, cloud-native solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role places a strong emphasis on SAP Joule, generative AI, and AI agent architectures, driving intelligent automation and next-generation enterprise experiences.
You will play a key role in shaping AI-led transformation initiatives, combining deep SAP expertise with modern AI capabilities to deliver scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad
• Lead the implementation of SAP Joule use cases across business processes, embedding generative AI into SAP applications
• Design and develop AI agent frameworks (autonomous and semi-autonomous agents) integrated with SAP landscapes
• Define best practices for AI-driven automation, orchestration, and decision intelligence
• Integrate SAP systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.) with AI services and external platforms
• Provide technical leadership across BTP services such as CAP, Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and SAP Build
• Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for AI and BTP solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into scalable architectures
• Mentor development teams and ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Stay at the forefront of SAP AI innovations, particularly Joule and embedded AI capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience as an SAP Technical Architect with a strong focus on SAP BTP
• Proven delivery experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations and extensions
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh)
  • SAP Extension Suite (CAP, SAP Build, Kyma/Cloud Foundry)
  • SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad
• Demonstrable experience with SAP Joule (or equivalent SAP AI copilots) and embedded AI capabilities
• Strong background in Generative AI / LLMs, including:
  • Prompt engineering
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Fine-tuning and evaluation
• Experience designing and implementing AI agents / agentic architectures, including:
  • Multi-agent orchestration
  • Tool usage and API integration
  • Workflow automation using AI
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Java)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in conjunction with SAP BTP
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of security, identity management, and compliance in AI-enabled systems
