Hi, 

For my client in the automotive industry based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, I'm looking for a Senior Embedded C++ SW Engineer to support a strategic automotive software initiative at our customer. The role combines hands-on embedded C++ development with practical contribution to Automotive SPICE deployment and ISO 26262 software safety activities.
Key responsibilities:

• Transform algorithms and model-based designs into robust, testable C++ software.
• Contribute to software requirements, architecture, implementation, integration and verification.
• Strengthen ASPICE practices, including SWE.1-SWE.6, traceability, reviews and engineering evidence.
• Support software-level ISO 26262 activities and safety-related work products.
• Work closely with our customer engineering teams onsite in Clermont-Ferrand.

Profile:

• Senior automotive embedded software engineer with strong C++ skills.
• Practical experience with Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.
• Experience with model-based development, MATLAB/Simulink, MISRA, ALM tools, ADAS or SEooC is a plus.
• Professional English required; French strongly preferred.

Contract: Freelance 
Start date: ASAP 
Duration: 6 months + extension 
Conditions: On site (1 day remote per week) 
Rate: 400€ - 450€ (Depending on experience)
