A Senior ServiceNow Custom App Developer designs and builds scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform using App Engine, ensuring solutions are secure, performant, upgrade-safe, maintainable, and aligned to platform governance. They translate business needs into data models, flows, UI experiences, APIs/integrations, and provide technical leadership to ensure quality delivery.
 
Key responsibilities:-
 

1. Application enhancement development – Using flow designer, business rules, script includes, scheduled jobs, security model (ACLs, roles, scope privileges)
2. Requirement and solution engineering
3. Adhere to platform governance requirements and quality
4. Build and consume integrations using REST API, Scripted REST API
5. Testing, deployment and business user support
6. Reduce Technical debt
7. Proactively identify risks and propose refactoring/improvements
8. Collaborate with architects, product owners, UAT testers, and platform ops

 
Skills needed:-

1. Strong in ServiceNow Scoped App development
2. Strong scripting skills
3. Experience in Flow designer, sub-flows, actions and scripts
4. Should also have knowledge on Classical Workflows
5. Experienced in building and maintaining integrations
6. Strong stakeholder communication
7. Ability to guide UAT testers
